One picture changed the whole site
We brought one picture, and the colors, the mood and the words of every page followed it. A story about taste, and about letting an assistant do the matching.

The picture shows a person sitting on enormous stone letters that spell botkb.com, holding a small wand that throws sparks. Behind them a house is going up. In front, four glowing stones carry a hard hat and hammer, a gear and spanner, a house, and a plan.

Before we had it, this site had effects. After we had it, the site had a look.
Key points
- The picture shows a person on stone letters that spell the site’s address, with four glowing stones for build, engineering, homes and plans.
- We made it with an image tool, meta.ai, in one long conversation.
- Then our AI assistant matched the colors and the theme of every page to it.
- The home page was rebuilt around it on 27 October, and the other pages followed the same day.
Where the picture came from
We made it with meta.ai (opens in a new tab), an image tool, in one long conversation. We asked again and again, and changed things each time, until the letters spelled botkb.com and the stones carried simple pictures that anyone understands: build, engineering, homes and plans. We also made a Hebrew version of the words.
The English words on the stones stay as they are, because they are plain words that everyone knows. Every other picture in the BotKB stories has no words at all, so the same picture can serve both languages.
What the assistant did
Once we had the picture, we asked our AI assistant to build the home page around it. It took the gold of the sunset and the brown of the stone as the palette, and the same warm light as the mood. The home page came first, in the afternoon of 27 October.
By the evening it had done the rest. It gave the pages a shared header and footer in the same colors, rebuilt the inner pages in the design of the home page, and wrote the words of the other pages in plain language.
What we did
Our part was taste. We brought the picture, and we kept saying “not yet” until the site felt right. The assistant did the matching: every color, every shadow and every page that had to agree with the picture.
We think this is why it worked. A good reference picture gives every small decision a test: does it match? Without it, each page was a fresh opinion, which is how the first design went wrong.
How it feels
To us, the result feels like a site that took months. Our project history, the dated list of every change we saved, says otherwise. The first line was saved on 26 October, and by the evening of 27 October the site also had an accessibility menu, a cookie notice and a “page not found” page in both languages.
Nothing in this story matches your search.

A calm site that is also lightWe wanted this site to feel rich without feeling heavy. Here is how we kept the motion gentle and the pages light, and what a page checker said when we ran it on 28 October.
Hebrew and English as equalsEvery page of this site exists in English and in Hebrew, read left to right and right to left. Here is what that meant for the fonts, the layout, the error page and the way we check our words.
