Privacy policy
What information this website collects, why, and the choices you have.
Last updated 30 October 2026
BotKB is a small software studio in Jerusalem. This page explains, in plain words, what happens to your information when you use https://www.botkb.com. If anything is unclear, write to us at contact@botkb.com.
What we collect, and why
When you write to us. If you use the contact form, your name, email address, organisation, the project type you picked and your message are sent from your browser to our website host, Cloudflare, and then to our email delivery service, Brevo, which delivers them to our mailbox. Giving us this is your choice, and the site works without it (you can also write to contact@botkb.com or message us on WhatsApp). We use it only to reply to you and to talk about your project. We do not sell it, we do not add you to a mailing list because you wrote to us, and we share it with no one except the service providers named below, who handle it for us. We keep it only as long as we need it for that conversation, and delete it when you ask. If the form cannot send your message, it offers a link that prepares the email in your own email app instead; nothing is sent until you press send there.
If you write to us by email or on WhatsApp, we receive your name, email address or phone number, and what you tell us, and we use it in the same way.
To check you are a person. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated programs. It loads only on the contact page. It looks at technical details of your browser and connection, such as your IP address, and answers pass or fail. It is needed to keep the form free of spam, so it is not one of the optional services below.
To deliver the site. Our website is delivered through Cloudflare. To show you a page and keep the site safe, Cloudflare handles technical details of your visit, such as your IP address, browser and the page you asked for. The fonts on our pages are served from our own site, so no font company receives your IP address.
On your own device. The site stores three small things in your browser: the language you chose, your accessibility settings, and one cookie that remembers your answer to the cookie notice (it lasts 12 months). These are needed for the site to work as you asked, they are never used to follow you, and your accessibility settings never leave your device.
Who handles your message
- Cloudflare. Delivers the website, runs the form’s server step and the Turnstile check, and passes mail sent to our address on to our mailbox.
- Brevo. An email delivery service that sends the form’s message to us. It handles your name, email address, organisation and message text for that purpose, and may keep technical delivery records under its own terms.
- Google (Gmail). Our mailbox, where we read and answer messages.
These providers may process information outside Israel, including in the United States and the European Union.
Optional services (only if you allow them)
Nothing in this list runs until you choose. You can allow each one separately in the cookie notice, and you can change your mind at any time with Privacy preferences at the bottom of every page.
- Visit statistics (Google Analytics). Counts visits and which pages are read, so we can improve the site.
- Page recordings (Microsoft Clarity). Shows how pages are used, such as clicks and scrolling, so we can fix confusing parts.
- Error reports (Sentry). Tells us when something breaks in your browser, with technical details such as your browser and the page, so we can fix it.
These providers may process information outside Israel, including in the United States and the European Union. Your IP address and similar online identifiers count as personal information, which is why we ask first.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Write to contact@botkb.com and we will answer within 30 days.
Children
This site is written for businesses and is not aimed at children.
Changes
If we change how we handle information, for example by adding a new service, we update this page and ask for your choice again. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
